Before the Jio phone pre bookings started, its features were made available on the website. Jio which was called ‘India ka smartphone’ by RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani, can be booked online via MyJio app or Jio’s website as well as offline by walking into Jio retail stores or multi-branded outlets. As soon as the booking started, the Jio website crashed which probably because of the traffic load.
